What are you inspired by?

Perception

Never say to anyone that you are inspired by a person. That’s a very dangerous statement to make.

When you say you are inspired by a person, you are actually inspired by his work or thoughts or some instance that he has done or carries with him. That is totally normal. You just can’t get inspired by a person itself. He must have done something or said something and that’s why you like him.

But the world is huge and you don’t know the crux of everything. Each person has a flip side. And the world is filled with people who only have half information. Some people might share the common knowledge as you because they might know the same things as you.

On the contrary, the others might know something interesting that you are not aware of.

This is the tipping point. If you convey your inspirational name to them, you would definitely be judged on what kind of a person you are.

That’s why it is extremely important to point out instances on why you like or dislike something or someone. It breaks the barrier of assumptions and gives a clear thought to others and leaves no chances of creating false perceptions.
